Over the years as I have watched training camps I have come to the conclusion that there isn’t a whole lot that be discerned as to the quality of newcomers to the Cowboys roster. I have seen some that look like they are going to make a huge impact on the team and then comes the regular season and sometimes that doesn’t translate in “real” games. However there has been some that come out of nowhere and become a real asset to the team but like I said, it’s difficult to tell. What I am excited about is the fact that we have a powerhouse offensive team and hopefully the defense will settle in and I think having Scandrick back will bolster both the production and the confidence level, and the same applies with Sean Lee. I am hoping for big things from my boy Jaylon Smith. I watched him closely at Notre Dame University and he was a monster playing for the Irish. My feeling is that he will probably be good this year, but next year, barring further injuries and getting experience at the NFL level he will be an absolute beast at LB. The big question is; will Dak avoid the sophomore slump ?…Defense are studying him ( they all know the cowboys are the team to beat and you can bet they are circling the cowboys game day on their calandar) and hopefully he can yet again elevate his game and be ready to step it up as an elite QB in the NFL…really excited about the coming season, thanks for this new platform Shango, I’ve been around your youtube site since the week before the great seahawks rant…I was right with you on that whole rant…lol…anyways cheers and Lets go Cowboys…
